Spring Break family fun can be found in Bandera. The Frontier Times Museum is hosting Frontier Days filled with exciting activities every day during Spring Break, March 10 to March 14. Each day offers different activities along with the museum’s regular fun like the Frontier Scavenger Hunt and Free wagon rides will be happening all week as well. The fun goes from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm every day. Wagon rides start at 11am, come inside to make your reservation. All activities included with museum admission.
Monday 10th~ Rock of Ages-Presentations on geology, flint knapping and arrowheads
Activities-Wagon Rides, Geode Painting, Make your own fossils, rock painting and scavenger hunts
Explore the wonders of rocks and fossils through hands-on activities and exhibits.
Tuesday 11th~Cultural Heritage of Texas-Presentations highlighting German, Polish, Asian & Mexican Heritage. Activities-Foods from the four areas and crafts representing each area. Wagon Rides & Scavenger Hunts
Embark on a cultural journey with a special passport to experience the food, games, and traditions of Texas.
Wednesday 12th~Down on the Farm-Goat Milking, Petting zoo with goats, pigs, rabbits, Sheering Demonstration, Wool Display.
Activities-Plant your own garden, make a pig, cow and sheep, play the floating duck game, wagon rides & scavenger hunts.
Get up close with farm animals, learn how to milk a goat, and experience life on the farm firsthand!
Thursday 13th~Wild about Nature-Presentations from San Antonio Parks & Rec, Busy Birding & Kerrville Nature Center
Activities-Plant your own garden, make a turtle, do sun prints, wagon rides, scavenger hunts.
Learn about Texas wildlife, including animals and birds, with exciting exhibits and interactive fun.
Friday 14th~HeART of Texas-Presentation by Clifton Fifer
Activities-Make your own musical instruments, face painting, wagon rides and scavenger hunts.
Celebrate Texas through music, arts, and crafts as we showcase the creativity of the Lone Star State.
